Using the right equipment

Not everyone can afford to buy all the right equipment for all the different fish, but having some knowledge on what works for each species is a good start. Say you are fishing for bass, walleye, or any type of panfish, you will want to use a 5 1/2 to 6 foot rod with a medium or light weight. You can start with rubber worms or live bait, learn to jig and use different types of lures. You will also need to know what kind of line to buy, if you buy the wrong line it could be fairly easy to lose a lot of fish! Most people don't actually read the product when they buy, but some tackle will tell you what it is used for and how to use it. Doing a little bit of research will make your fishing experiences go along way!
